The male perspective is underrepresented in the social and health NGO field, so the risk of overlap is small. Lyömätön Linja is the only service specializing in violence work with men.

Tukinainen ry, Tukinainen rf

1 M€ to support victims of sexual offences. Got 100% of what it applied for. NGO-based support and rights advice (637k€) in four locations: Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Lappeenranta, Rovaniemi. General grant 366k€ (37%). A specialized service. Rikosuhripäivystys (RIKU) provides broader support for crime victims, but Tukinainen specializes in sexual offences. Got everything it asked for.

MARIA AKATEMIA YHDISTYS RY

806k€ for violence work concerning women. Prevention of violence used by women (628k€) - an unusual target group. Most violence programmes focus on men. General grant 178k€ (22%). One grant item (violence work with young women) was rejected. Women's violence is a taboo that few organizations address. Specialized and unique.

NAISTEN LINJA SUOMESSA RY

578k€ through a single grant. A low-threshold helpline, chat and counselling for women who have experienced violence. 100% targeted. A clear, concrete service. Cf. Monika-Naiset (487k€ for immigrant women who have experienced violence). Naisten Linja serves everyone, Monika-Naiset serves immigrants.

551k€. Combating honour-related violence (205k€). Poverty experts by experience group (140k€). General grant 207k€ (38%). Three EU projects were rejected.
